Botanix is a Bitcoin-secured Layer-2 that launched with a 16-validator Proof-of-Authority federation using a 12-of-16 Schnorr multisignature vault for BTC custody, enabling 1:1 minting of synthetic BTC on an EVM-compatible execution layer after ~18 Bitcoin confirmations.
